12 Questions for: Miss S

1. How do you maintain your sexiness? Make sure the skin on my face always looks good by washing it every night, face mask every 2 weeks, and facial 2-3 times a year. Make sure my hair and makeup looks good when I go out. Even when I am running errands, it’s important to me to look nice and put together.

2. What physical features attract you to someone? Face and height.

3. When and why did you start exercising? I’ve been exercising since I was 13 or 14. I started then with figure skating.

4. Did you have an active childhood? Yes, I did 🙂
a. Did you play sports? Figure skating was my sport, I did it seriously for 4 good years, starting at age 13. I still love the sport. Other sports I like: tennis, bicycling (my fav), running.
b. Were others around you good fitness role models? I didn’t have people close to me who were good fitness role models. I did look to fitness role models who were famous, such as Michelle Kwan (for figure skating), Michael Johnson (running), and Darrell Green (Redskins fan in me).

5. What is your current workout routine? Currently I like riding my bike on the Capital Crescent Trail once a week (14 miles round trip!) and lifting weights or yoga once more in the week.

6. What do you usually eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner?
I think I generally eat healthy, but I love my sweets! I believe in the happy medium! Because I live by myself, I don’t make a lot of meat in all of my meals or cook lots of greasy meals. Recently I’ve been big on eating a nice bowl of strawberries, blueberries and cherries. I do this for the vitamins and antioxidants, so that my skin has a nice glow to it. I do notice a slight difference! I eat a lot of sushi, usually 1-3x per week. I like making cobb salads at home. Breakfast is usually a banana and cereal. I would say my diet is alright. I have to say that I am one of those extremely lucky people who has a fast metabolism…

7. What exercise do you HATE to do but do it anyways? Shoulder lifts with the dumbbell.

8. What is your favourite body part? My legs and my skin.
a. Why? My legs because they are long. My skin because its soft, not finicky, and not as much hair as other persian girls, lol.

9. You like when people look at your face because it makes you feel pretty.

10.You wish your ______ was bigger. I don’t wish anything was bigger! I already have long legs and arms, am happy with my face, chest, and butt. I don’t want any of it to be bigger 🙂

11.You wish your feet were smaller.

12. I wish that I never got another zit again because they annoy the heck out of me.

It is really great that, even though Miss S didn’t really have any fitness role models immediately close to her, she still looked to others as healthy examples.

12 Questions for: Soca Silky

The super-cute Soca Silky is my favourite soca/carnival DJ and she was kind enough to respond to CFN’s ?s About YOU! Here is what she had to say:

1. How do you maintain your sexiness? sexiness is a state mind 🙂 keeping active doesn’t hurt 🙂

2. What physical features attract you to someone? a nice body

3. When and why did you start exercising? I have tried to keep fit most of my life but as with all things sometimes I am more dilegent than others.

4. Did you have an active childhood? Yes.
a. Did you play sports? Yes. Track & Field, Swimming and an unsuccessful run at tennis
b. Were others around you good fitness role models ? yes. I got involved in a lot of activities following friends

5. What is your current workout routine? I should be kickboxing twice a week and running twice a week…should being the operative word!

6. What do you usually eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner? breakfast is usually tea and maybe yogurt. Lunch left overs from dinner or crap I buy. Dinner I try to cook most nights. The meals vary, a lot of fish and chicken dishes; we try to limit our red meat and pork intake.

7. What exercise do you HATE to do but do it anyways? jump squats and burpies

8. What is your favourite body part? boobs.
a. Why? because I didnt always have them and I have treasured them since they blossomed

9.You like when people look at your waist while I am whining because it makes you feel sexy.

10.You wish your butt was bigger.

11.You wish your nothing was smaller.

12. I wish that I had six pack because I think it would look hott,

From Soca Silky’s responses, it seems that having an active childhood helped her maintain a healthy lifestyle later on….she also didn’t mention that she recently completed her first triathlon! Her dinners seem to be healthy but, like most of us, she may need some extra motivation to workout sometimes.

Look at the buffness that is JR below! This is what he had to say about how he gets his muscles:

1. How do you maintain your sexiness? Mainly crunches, back workouts, push ups, and navy seal cardio workouts.

2. What physical features attract you to someone? Eyes, legs, hips

3. When and why did you start exercising? I’ve been exercising most of my life. It helps to build a good appetite!

4. Did you have an active childhood? Yes

a. Did you play sports? Yes
b. Were others around you good fitness role models? Yes

5. What is your current workout routine? M-W-F (resistance), T-Th (back), Sat (cardio)

6. What do you usually eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner? Breakfast-Muscle milk, banana, blueberry smoothie, 1 cup of kashi crunch or nothing at all. Lunch-Chicken salad sandwich, a chicken dish, ground beef tacos, peanuts or nothing at all. Dinner-Steak, lasanga, chicken alfredo, beef patties, grilled/baked chicken, 8 oz burgers and sides.

7. What exercise do you HATE to do but do it anyways? Supermans (for lower back)

8. What is your favourite body part? Face
a. Why? I’m really good looking 🙂

9. You like when people look at your eyes because it makes you feel a connection or a loop.

10.You wish your appetite was bigger.

11.You wish your metabolic rate was smaller (lower).

12. I wish that could gain 20 lbs because I want to be healthier.

10 Questions for: Cari

This post begins Candid FitNut’s interview series! Here is what this hottt mamacita (pic below) has to say about health, fitness, and her body (her responses are in bold text):

1. How do you maintain your sexiness? By having tons of sex 🙂 Yah right, but I’m sure that would help…. I just try to work out consistantly, eat healthy, and watch portions (most of the time). I also love beauty products… makeup, hair products, nail polish, all that stuff! At the same time, I don’t take myself too seriously. It’s never sexy when someone tries too hard.

2. What is your current workout routine? 45 mins on the elliptical, 4 times a week. Maybe some squats or push ups. I’m pretty good at getting in the cardio but I need to do some more lifting and toning.

3. What do you usually eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner? Bfast = coffee/skim latte (I know, I know!) Lunch = Salad, sandwich, pizza, or whatever I feel for given the selection of food spots where I work (Maybe one of these days I’ll start bringing my own lunch), Dinner = Ideally, grilled chicken or some sort of pasta dish with veggies. Many times I’ll have to settle for a TV dinner or a few bowls of cereal :/

4. What exercise do you HATE to do but do it anyways? Anything ab related! And I don’t do it anyways.

5. What is your fav body part? My legs

a. Why? The one part I don’t have to work too hard on to get toned.

6. You like when people look at your eyes because it makes you feel like they’re paying attention to me.

7. You wish your Ass (durr!) was bigger.

8. You wish your Waist (durr!) was smaller.

9. What physical features attract you to someone? Facial bone structure, toned arms, that v on a guy’s lower abdomen 😉

10. I wish that women didn’t have to get periods because it f*cking sucks.
